Binding terminology

A query to binders from Bob Futernick at Fine Arts Museums
of San Francisco:  Has anybody organized a bookbinding
exihibition using standardized terminology to describe the
bindings instead of having each binder compose his/her own
label text?  He is looking for terminology that could be
standard enough for each exhibit entry to be described by
checking off options on a form.  I'm not sure how label
text would be generated from that, possibly by computer?
Anyway, Bob does not currently have e-mail, but can be reached

helping him out.
