Sacramento, CA

     The Northeast Document Conservation Center
(NEDCC) will present a three day workshop
on preservation microfilming from May 13-15, 1996 at
the California State Library in Sacramento.
The program is designed to train project administrators

digital technologies and their role in hybrid systems.
In addition, participants will learn skills for
planning preservation microfilming projects; for

The cost to participants is $210. The price of the
workshop includes the cost of Preservation
Microfilming: A Guide for Librarians and Archivists,
2d ed., edited by Lisa Fox, Preservation
Consultant. If a participant does not wish to order the
book, the cost of the workshop is $150.
