I have used the "Avery Permanent Glue Stic" for years.   
It is acid free and photo-safe.  What's more, it sticks like glue!

  In going through the LP collection at McGill's Music Library, I have discovered a few LPs where the original label has separated from the disc. Can someone recommend a good, safe adhesive to reglue the labels to the discs?
