Yep, certainly a lot more metadata is needed. And that sadly varies over format too :(
Also, keep in mind that there are at least TWO different forms of 78-related databases! The first is the "catalog," which lists the phonorecords in a collection...and thus refers to existing copies of phonorecords, and will include fields such as "Condition" and "Price Paid;" The second is the "discographic" database, which will aspire to list ALL the phonorecords on one or more specific labels (or of specific genres)! This latter does NOT refer to specific copies of phonorecords. Note that several examples of the former can be used in the compilation of the latter!
