Re: [ARSCLIST] DVD-R recommendations?
i've had consistent performance with Verbatim Medidisc DVD, designed
for the medical industry, and obviously designed for long-term
storage of critical records, and less than ideal handling conditions.
also have used the MAM-A gold disks (CD and DVD), which had slightly
higher error rates, consistently, and slightly less playability in
clients machines.
so far, TY CDR (ph-cya) and Verbatim MediDisc DVDR have been my
consistent-behavior, box-after-box, go-to media. in addition, the TY
has their waterproof ink-jet printable white surface, and they
generally showed better error behavior and consistency than the
non-Watershield version.
