Re: [ARSCLIST] the long-predicted tipping point



Let us not forget that, according to the WSJ, radio, motion pictures and
records were all supposed to go away in the late 1940s. Yes, things are
changing but I see no signs that the WSJ has any more of a clue about the
entertainment business than they did in the '40s. Some pretty damned good
records were made in the 1950s and lots of us bought them. Great albums made
great Christmas and birthday presents. That won't change. Thankfully the
'80s and disposable albums ARE finally over.
