There is no reason to believe solid state technology that replaces both
memory and storage won't be adopted just as soon as it becomes practical.
The profit potential and patentability is too great. I think the i-phone is
the tip of a technology iceberg much like the pocket calculator was and that
nano-memory will make today's Swiss Army Knife computers just as obsolete as
the microprocessor made mainframe/terminal technology thirty years ago.
