Re: [ARSCLIST] Fwd: [post-war-blues] Ace and Bear Family Releases May be Unavailable in US Soon?

Hi Bob -

If so, I apologize; I was just trying to find out what was/might be going on. As I picked it up from another list, where specific info was not given, I was just trying to find out what was actually going on, and figured this was one of the best places to do so. What do you know that I/the original poster don't? Are they mis-interpreting some new or proposed law?

As a musician myself, I certainly am 1000% in support of musicians and others involved in the creation of recordings getting their fair share, but the older I get, the less respect I have for most record companies and their inability/unwillingness to make music available to the public (at a reasonable price, of course - I'm no free downloader).

  thanks,

  Gene
