It looks like an early electric replacing an acoustic coupling.
Co 3546 would have been initially released c. October 1924, a bit early
for electric recording.
Mx A 3551 was recorded around July 1926, and mx 3817 around August 1926.
Note that these dates were extrapolated from existing 2nd and 3rd
generation lists and not from original material from Columbia UK. I am
also unsure whether the UK had electric recording this early or not.
It's also possible that take -5 of "Immortal Hour" may have been
recorded closer to the release date (a third session?), say in Sept. 1926.
Anything more exact would necessitate locating company ledgers.

The "R" indicates "remake," as far as I can tell, and replaces an earlier, idenical coupling.
One copy has the take number after the matrix number in the dead wax, the other the matrix number only.
What's going on here? Is one a dub? Any idea?
