Re: [ARSCLIST] audio restoration
You might consider joining ARSC- the Association for Recorded SOund
Collections, and checking things out through their listserv. I'm posting my
response to you to their listserv as well.

Subject: audio restoration
hello Steve,
My name is Jeremy -I graduated from the conservatory of recording
arts-about 2 yrs ago-I have a decent job at a church in tn. as a full time
everything audio type job -I have grown bored with the job to say the
least-I was wondering if you had any tips or suggestions -of how to get
into the field of audio restoration-I always thought working for the
smithsonian would be a great job--thanks for reading this --any tips or
suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
