Probably not...in spite of the fact they own the copyrights! For the
most part what wound up being preserved is/was more or less "by accident"
as it wasn't until the mid-thirties (and in most cases later) that record
companies began reissuing their old recordings...other than that the
general idea probably was that pop recordings had a limited shelf
life, and once issued weren't worth issuing again...
