Hi Parker,

I stand corrected, the Elberg MD-12 Mk2 (released about May 2004)
has moving coil support and plenty of gain for the Ortofon SPU-GT.

However, those who have an older/original Elberg MD-12 may not have
sufficient gain for a low output moving coil cartridge.  In that
case, they should consider purchasing the newer Mk2 (available
from you).  :-)

The Elberg MD12 Mk2 has the following gain specification:

Gain @ 1 kHz: 46dB (MM), 71dB (MC)
