Re: [ARSCLIST] The Incompetence at ENHS

Mr. Kulp, This is not an issue that has not already been discussed with the ENHS superintendant Ms. Gerbakis. Who did not even give me a "thank you" for procuring $56,000 dollars for the site, but instead took the credit for herself.
What goes on WFMU is fantastic but it is only a small percentage of the 50,000 plus recordings that could be on the internet NOW if the government knew what it was doing. Besides having to convert the recordings there, and organize his radio show on his own time, Mr. Fabris, (The only person to work with all of these recordings) also is required to do "maintenance" work with the renovation crews, instead of what he is supposed to be doing. (By the way, the renovation crew nearly collapsed a wall of the original recording studio trying to install an elevator in a 118 year old brick building.) Incompetence and corruption are what have kept the ENHS closed for almost two years past the projected reopening date.

Mike lo

Frankly,I think the government has no business owning
the ENHS in the first place. As far as digitizing, and
putting historic, acoustical stuff on the web is
concerned, you can't do any better than WFMU
http://wfmu.org/playlists/AP
http://wfmu.org/playlists/te
Jerry Fabris is the guy who handles the ENHS stuff, for
WFMU,maybe he'd be interested in putting it all on the
web,why don't you ask him ?

Not all of us are sheep, who believe in group think. As
an agorist
http://flag.blackened.net/daver/anarchism/nlm/nlm4.html
you will get no argument from me,that the government
cannot do anything right. But you can catch more flies
with honey,than you can,with vinegar.
