Thanks Mike.  Very interesting.  Sounds like Nellie just stepped back each
time and the piano distance wasn't fooled with.

One of the Edison sites has some of the same sort of things.  Recorder tests
and auditions.  I think I've heard some distance tests and/or tests with the
big horns on Thomas Edison's Attic which is hosted every other week on WFMU
by Jerry Fabris.
