While I use both the underscore and the spacebar, for deliverable
files, especially if some of them are MP3 files.
The reason for that is when a Web browser sees a space, it often
becomes "%20" which is the hex representation of the space character
(ASCII 32). It looks messy and confuses people, I think.
Other than that, I don't know of a reason, but space has been a
delimiter in older operating systems (OSs), but I don't think any
current OS cares (Windows? Linux? Mac/Linux?)
