As it happens, my studio is so cramped that one speaker is usually blocked with
stuff piled in front, courtesy of a lack of flat space and a cat who
appropriates what little there is at every opportunity, so most of my 78
transfers are heard from only one speaker most of the time. (One of these years
I'll listen to some of those issued discs on a real system and be shocked at
what they're putting on the right channel.)
