Not really..Seeger was recording for Asch and Disc (Folkways' predecessors) in the 78 era and was making LPs for Folkways from their inception, all through the Weavers era and well beyond. He was probably just as happy to be living in the country, chopping wood and growing his own food and doing an occasional gig.
