Hey, I bet this will work! A no-frost freezer should dry and de-mold books. However, knowing mold
spores, I bet they just go dormant and will re-emerge if the book is kept in a warm/wet enough
environment. My books don't seem to have bad mold problems. There was a little bit between the cover
and jacket of one, but Windex seemed to remove it. I think the musty smell is more that the pages
are damp and pressed together and need to be fully dried.

I believe there is a recommended procedure for freezing books infested with
mold that will kill the mold. I'm not sure under what controls the freezing
is done, but UNC used to have a room and freezer device dedicated to
