 Hunting for Jazz Treasures: 
Discovering the Monk-Coltrane Tapes

Larry Appelbaum, Library of Congress Recording Lab Supervisor and jazz specialist, will discuss the search for, discovery and significance of the 1957 Carnegie Hall concert recordings by the Thelonious Monk Quartet with John Coltrane, recently found at the Library of Congress and released by Blue Note Records.
