The ability to record to both media is unique among any portable recorder, to
my knowledge. In addition, there are plans to revise the software to allow
recording to an external firewire drive (this will create TRIPLE redundancy, if
desired!). They are also built like tanks. Very expensive....but if you can,
there is none better (maybe a Nagra V, but its bigger and more expensive).
