Re: [ARSCLIST] And now for something completely different...

Which kind? Compact Flash? I use Kingston Elite 2G in my 744T with great success...

I have been asked by my boss if there is a 'preferred' Flash Memory Card

It appears that some machines have issues with some cards. For example,
when I last checked in with Marantz, they were still not recommending the
use of SandDisk cards with the PMD670 or PMD660--I'm not sure about the
PMD671. I usually tell people to call the manufacturer of the equipment
they want to use and ask about cards that have been tested with the gear.
We learned the hard way that SanDisk cards don't work 100% with the
PMD670, and had our experience validated once I talked to someone at
Marantz. We switched to Viking and PNY cards and the problem--skips in
the audio signal--has not returned.
