WOR and WMGM studios were used for many jazz recording sessions in the late 40's and very early 
50's. Blue Note used WOR a lot and several others used WMGM. Most or all of those Blue Note 
Thelonious Monk solo sides were done at WOR and Miles Davis "The Birth of the Cool" sessions were 
done at WMGM.
