Printing with inkjet can affect longevity depend on the ink and the solvent/base in which it is dissolved/suspended. I've seen no data on the matter, but recommend thermal printing (both Casio and Primera offer economical printers of this type) which has no liquid component and where the inks may be presumed safe.


It is known that there are incidents where inks used in silk screening (on pressed discs) have destroyed CDs in relatively short order. Unfortunately, testing on a broader base is both costly and time-consuming. Some results are offered at
