I'm not that technical. I let the drive software make the decision. So far it hasn't burned me (pun
intended). Like I said, though, I'm not running an archive per se, just a personal collection. My
strategy has always been many copies scattered around different places and media (CDR's, hard
drives, etc) and locations.
