Triplets.... Disc, HD, Tape...

Rotating media within 5 years... I know... do we really need to do this.

There are two types of people. The one's who has experienced HD failure, and
the ones that will.
I think this goes for all storage media. Any one that claims that they are
willing to trust a disc for 100+ years I would like to talk to in 20 years.

There was a recent NIST study about gold CDs which reaches the same
conclusion, although with a somewhat shorter lifespa for CD- +/- 100 years.
It discusses and more-or-less disses the others types.  I can't give a
citation but it was about a year ago.
