I have one of those German made, processor controlled, lab ovens a-la
Sonicraft. We do all sorts of projects from one 1/4" tape on 5" reel to
large collections containing dozens and even hundreds of reels (radio
stations and record companies). 
Although I have the most advance and proper oven for the larger jobs, we
have it primarily because the AM Harvest unit was not available here at
the time. If it would I was probably going to buy it for the smaller
jobs. It's not available now either.

I haven't had a large-scale project. If I had the $$ coming in from that
kind of project, I'd go much larger-scale and get a good laboratory oven
like Steve Puntollilo has (www.sonicraft.com).
