[ARSCLIST] EvaTone sound sheets

Friends,

Some questions regarding EvaTone "sound sheets"...

I'm curious as to whether they have cleaning/storage needs more specific than those we apply to other PVC-based disc media. I know that sound sheets were created via an embossing process, as opposed to injection molding, so I guess the question is: did the PVC used to make sound sheets have to be weaker in order to soften at 180F, or was it a formula similar to "normal" vinyl discs (LPs, 45s, etc).

Interesting side-note: they were still making the things as recently as 2000, at which time their last sound sheet contract expired.

thanks as always, Brandon Burke
