Stragely enough, this came from an interview I had with some NPR folks where
they asked for the longest-lasting medium and I told them.

My pal Dave Giovannoni, a fellow 78 fanatic, used to do work for them as
well.

The name of the funding group for the conversion work in the feature was the
Smolian-Giovannoni Foundation.
