Recommendations: 

Turntables:
- EMT 948 or 950 broadcast transcription turntable (both 12"), with
varispeed

- EMT 930 (12") or EMT 927 (16").
  If varispeed is needed, use Multiconverter DU 937 by Hans-Ludwig Dusch:

EQ preamp:
Elberg MD12 preamp by Jørgen Vad with various EQ settings for 78 rpm

Alternatively, use a modern DJ turntable with varispeed and digital S/PDIF
