Dear Mr. Friedman,

Please excuse the delay in responding to your most recent inquiry
regarding the drive belt on the KODASCOPE Model G II 16 mm Projector.
Regrettably, all service and manufacturing documentation was disposed of
some years ago.

I have conferred with one of our engineers who advised that back in the
"olden days" many belt manufacturers either made belts of cotton or
fabric, or reinforced rubber belts with fabric.  He had never heard of
rubber belts being asbestos impregnated.
