There is a possible solution for the carpets that pet owners have used for
sometime. There is a company that applies a boric acid based powder into
your carpets, then they have a vibrating machine that works the powder down
into the carpet. I think this will kill any kind of insect although their
intention is to rid your home of fleas. The company is called RX for Fleas
and they have franchise owners all over the place. They are in the Yellow
Pages and probably have a web site
