Re: [ARSCLIST] Does anyone have any opinions about the plug in SOUND SOAP???

Dear esteemed colleagues,

I'm working mainly on pro-tools, digitizing 1/4" master tapes from 1969
of spoken word material. On the whole the recordings are pretty darn
good, but a few reels had some 60 hz hum, lo rumble and high pitched
white noise.

A couple of years ago I bought the introduction version of SOUND SOAP
(by Bias) and was less than thrilled. I found it pretty much unusable
for my purposes.

Now, Bias has a new version called SOUND SOAP PRO, and I've read some
reviews on their site saying that it's very good and comparable to waves
audio restoration plug-ins.

I'm wondering if anyone has used it and would or would not recommend it.

Many thanks,
Paul
