preservation, you might want to consult the recent IASA Technical
Committee publication titled Guidelines on the Production and
Preservation of Digital Audio Objects. In section 6, Preservation Target
Formats and Systems, there is a discussion that provides useful
perspective and some guiding principles. Information on obtaining this

I would also appreciate an elaboration on this.  We are now  saving our
programs using DVDs and CDs.  It would be of great concern if  they are
degrading.
