Dear friends:

An Italian researcher has asked me about the following short pieces. They
were recorded for the Fonotecnica label by Giacomo Debenedetti, cantor of
Turin (Torino), in the 1930's. The researcher does not know if they were
actually released or not:

01. Kaddish for Rosh Hashannah
02. Kaddish for Yom Kippur
03. Ki shem adonay ekra' (Rosh hashannah)
04. Shofet kol haaretz (Yom Kippur)
05. 'Et sha'are ratzon (Yom Kippur)
06. Avinu malkenu (Yom Kippur)
07. Vay'hi binsoa' (Shabbat and Festival Torah Service)
08. Bachurim vegam betulot (Shabbat Torah Service)
09. Betzet Yisrael (Passover Seder)
10. Hodu ladonay (Passover Seder)
11. Ki lo naeh (Passover Seder)
12. Adir lo yanum (Passover Seder)
13. Yom rinah (Simchat Torah)
14. Mipi El (Simchat Torah)

Note that the language on any labels, if they exist, may not match
exactly.
He believes they would have been solo male voice. He has a copy of the
recordings, thanks to reel-to-reel copies transferred by Leo Levi in the
1950's, but no information whatsoever about the label, or the records
themselves. If anyone can help, please let us know.

Many thanks,

Joel Bresler
