Re: [ARSCLIST] Maximilian Pilzer - Request For Info

Proquest's NY Times historical backfile gives 64 citations for Maximilian
Pilzer, starting with an ad for a debut recital by Pilzer on March 9, 1905
and ends with an account of his death, on the podium in the Central Park
bandshell while conducting the Naumburg Concert Orchestra on May 31, 1958.
Around 40 of these cites appear to be substantial articles at least
mentioning Pilzer and the rest are concert and broadcast listings and
advertisements.

If you cannot get access to this database through your local library, let
me know and I will try to e-mail you some representative articles (full
text PDF file reproductions of the original NY Times articles!) directly.
