We
make digital transfers to CD-R from minidisc. I think I'm right in saying
that the digital output of minidisc players is optical (or at least all our
players have optical outputs and not SPDIF or AES/EBU). That means you
need a CD-R writer which has an optical input or you'll need a converter to
change the optical datastream into SPDIF (say). These are commonly
available. The optical datastream, incidentally, will also transfer the
minidisc track markers.
