arsclist By way of introduction

Well, since I inadvertently de-lurked myself, and some of you are probably wondering who the hell I am, I guess now is as good a time as any to introduce myself to the list.
My name is Matt Sohn, and I am currently working as the audio preservationist at the Louis Armstrong House and Archives at Queens College in Flushing, NY. I became acquainted with ARSC when I was working in the archives at the Chicago Symphony, where I spent 3 1/2 years transferring broadcast tapes to CDR. Part of my job at the CSO was to make cassette dubs of ARSC lectures for people that ordered them, so even though I've never been to an ARSC conference, I'm familiar with many of you already. I have been lurking here on the list for about a year now, and found my current job through a posting here, so thanks ARSClist!
