arsclist Embossed discs

Dear ARSC community:

I am wondering if any of you have much knowledge of or experience with
embossed discs. I am currently working on a paper for a graduate class at
the University of Texas at Austin (Basics of Audio Preservation and
Reformatting) and my topic is embossed discs (history, issues concerning,
etc.). Since there is little literature regarding my topic,
I would greatly appreciate being able to ask questions of anyone that has
dealt with or knows a bit about these. My experience is only with Gray
Audograph discs since we have several hundred of them in the archive at
which I work (Harry Ransom Center).
