RE: arsclist RE: TYVEK CD sleeves
Well way back in my archival memory somewhere I remember that Vinyl is
nasty stuff and does outgass and I believe formaldehyde is what outgasses,
and I believe I remember something about chlorine and hydrochloric acid
too -but I may be wrong about all this - clearly practicing chemistry
without a license. I think a good basic book on preservation will have this
info - now I had one here somewhere - - it had a vinyl slip cover - - -
hoomm what is this gooky mess over here???
