Conservation Training Update and Corrections

Anonymous

The September 1982 issue of the WAAC Newsletter covered "Conservation Training Programs and Training Opportunities On The West Coast". Some updates on the article follow:

Cooperstown Graduate Program. The Conservation Center is located on the shore of Lake Otsego, not Lake Oswego (that's near Portland, Oregon!).

Winterthur/University of Delaware Program. Ms. Joyce Hill Stoner is now the Program Director. Mr. Mervin Richard has replaced her as Paintings Conservator for Winterthur.

New York University Program. The Conservation Center is planning to move to the Stephen Chan House, 14 East 78th Street, by February 1983. In addition, their library has grown to 7500 volumes.

Copies of the issue mentioned above, Vol. 4, No. 3, are still available from WAAC, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, 5905 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90036, attention: V. Blyth-Hill, Conservation Center (price: $1.00 each).
