Das Institut für Papierrestaurierung Schloß Schönbrunn (IPR) wurde 1995 gegründet. Unser Institut ist eine Gesellschaft bürgerlichen Rechts aus sechs spezialisierten PapierrestauratorInnen, die der Überzeugung sind, die Aufgaben im Team effizienter bewältigen zu können. Als große private Restaurierwerkstatt ist es uns möglich, Aufträge aus allen Bereichen der Papierrestaurierung zu übernehmen. Sascha Höchtl, Markus Klasz, Doris Müller-Hess und Karin K. Troschke arbeiten an der Konservierung von Grafik, Malerei auf Papier und Karton wie Aquarell, Gouache, Tempera und Ölfarben, Karten, Globen, Pastelle, Pergamente, Tapeten, Fächer, Asiatika und Zeitgenössische Kunst. Andreas Gruber ist der Spezialist für den Bereich der Fotorestaurierung, Peter Zehetmayer ist Buchrestaurator und bietet konservatorische Archivpflegeprogramme an. Das Institut für Papierrestaurierung bietet auch die konservatorische Betreuung von großen und kleineren Ausstellungen an.

In 1995, six highly specialized paper conservators have joined their talents and founded the institute for paper conservation Schloß Schönbrunn (IPR). They are convinced that working together in a team enables them to accomplish their assignments more efficiently. The institute for paper conservation has been established as civil partnership pursuant to the Austrian Civil Code. Being a large private conservation workshop, the institute is able to accept assignments from all fields of paper conservation. Sascha Höchtl, Markus Klasz, Doris Müller-Hess and Karin K. Troschke work in the conservation of graphic arts, paintings on paper and cardboard such as aquarelle, gouache, tempera and oil colour, maps, globes, pastels, parchments, wall papers, fans, Asiatic art and contemporary art. Andreas Gruber is the specialist for the conservation of photographs, Peter Zehetmayer is book conservator and offers programs for the conservation and maintenance of archives. Moreover, the institute for paper conservation offers also the supervision for small and large expositions concerning the aspects of conservation.
