In the printed text, the entry for "gathering" has a cross-reference to "catchup-stitch", a term for which there is no entry (but see also "kettle stitch "). I have, without enthusiasm repointed this reference toward "catch stitch" but it seems likely that the reference is entirely spurious.[wh]
