1. A method of printing which utilizes wax, silk,
or other material. The ink, paint, etc., is
applied to the hack of the stencil. and covers the
paper, cloth, etc., only where the stencil is

transfer of a design, letter, etc., to a surface
when an inked brayer or brush is passed over its
