rotary board cutter
A machine used extensively in library binderies,
and to some extent in edition binderies, for
cutting boards to trimmed size. The circular
blades of the cutter are fixed on an axle, and the
board passes beneath them on a flat bed. One pass
cuts the boards to the set length, and, after
adjustment of the setting, a second pass cuts them
to the required width. (81 , 203 )
