Various trees from which paper is made in the Far East (and other areas), including Broussonetia papyrifera (see: PAPER MULBERRY ); Daphne cannabina, Edgeworthia cardneri, and Trophis aspers, the last three found in the East Indies. There is also the paperbark tree, Melaleuca leucadendron, as well as species of Callistemon, which are Australian trees from which the bark peels off in layers. (197 )
