A term used with reference to the transportation of unbound or bound books by a library or binder on an unmixed, or separate basis. Binderies which do not operate their own trucks, but rely instead on a common carrier, may be instructed by the library to ship the library's books on a separate basis, that is, not together with other materials not destined for or owned by the library.
