The single-twist knitting cotton about 1/16, inch in diameter, or double-twist cotton about 3/32 inch in diameter, with or without tags; it is used for loose-leaf bindings and also for attaching leaves loosely in temporary covers. The tags, if used, may be straight or crossed.
