cedar oil
A colorless to pale yellow essential oil distilled
from the wood of various cedars (Juniperus
virginiana, 1. procera, and others), and used by
some restorers in a mixture of anhydrous lanolin,

cedarwood oil is said to act both as a
preservative and as an agent which aids in forming
