bundling

1. The process of tying up the sections of a book under pressure before GATHERING (1) , for the purpose of keeping them clean, flat, and ready for gathering, while at the same time compressing them into a compact and solid state. 2. The process of gathering together a number of skins of leather, usually 12, of the same kind, weight, and grade. The total area of leather is indicated on the bundle. (179 , 236 , 320 )
