aniline ink
An inexpensive volatile printing ink consisting of
a dyestuff dissolved in a methylated spirit and
bound with a resin. It is considered to be a very
fast drying ink. Aniline inks are considerably
inferior in permanence to many other types of ink,
and are also subject to smudging by water.
Although all colors are available, they are
lacking in COLOR
FASTNESS . (144
